Is Kamisato Ayaka worth building?

Ayaka is still one of the most rewarding Cryo main DPS to invest in, especially if you enjoy the safe, beginner-friendly Freeze playstyle. What matters most is a clean 4pc Blizzard Strayer set and a Hydro unit to lock enemies in place. Don't stress over the weapon: the craftable 4-star Amenoma Kageuchi already takes her far, so skipping Mistsplitter is fine. Farm a CRIT DMG circlet and a Cryo goblet first.

Combat Rotation

Open with the Elemental Skill Kamisato Art: Hyouka for an instant AoE Cryo burst, which also triggers the +30% Normal/Charged Attack DMG buff for 6 seconds.
Immediately follow up with the Kamisato Art: Senho dash to apply Cryo to nearby enemies and infuse your blade with Cryo for a short window.
While the blade is Cryo-infused, chain Normal/Charged Attacks for continuous Cryo damage, fully benefiting from the +30% buff from step 1.
Once you have 80 Energy, unleash the Burst Kamisato Art: Soumetsu: it slashes repeatedly for 5 seconds then explodes in an AoE at the end - this is Ayaka's main damage source.
While the Skill is on its 10s cooldown, keep looping the Senho dash plus Normal Attacks to sustain damage and refresh the Cryo infusion.
Recast the Skill every time its 10s cooldown ends, and weave in the Burst whenever its 20s cooldown and the 80 Energy cost are both met, ideally alongside a Pyro (Melt) or Hydro (Freeze) teammate to multiply damage.
Repeat the loop of Skill -> Senho dash -> Normal Attacks -> Burst, keeping Ayaka on-field as the main Cryo damage dealer.
