Is Klee worth building?

Klee is a classic Pyro main DPS that's still strong in Vaporize teams, especially after her buff and the Marechaussee Hunter set paired with Furina. She's a touch clunky — long animations and no shield mean she gets interrupted easily — so she really wants a shielder or healer beside her. No Lost Prayer? The 4-star Widsith is still excellent on her. Prioritize CRIT and Pyro DMG, and pairing her with Xingqiu and Bennett gives you a strong, budget Vaporize team right away.

Plunging Attack
Gathering the power of Pyro, Klee plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Pyro DMG upon impact with the ground.
Jumpy Dumpty
Jumpy Dumpty is tons of boom-bang-fun!
When thrown, Jumpy Dumpty bounces thrice, igniting and dealing AoE Pyro DMG with every bounce.

On the third bounce, the bomb splits into many mines.
The mines will explode upon contact with opponents, or after a short period of time, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.

Pounding Surprise
When Jumpy Dumpty and Normal Attacks deal DMG, Klee has a 50% chance to obtain an Explosive Spark.
This Explosive Spark is consumed by the next Charged Attack, which costs no Stamina and deals 50% increased DMG.

After completing Witch's Homework: Of Leaves That Spark, Klee will become a Hexerei character. When the party includes at least 2 Hexerei characters, you will gain the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect, which enhances Hexerei characters.

When Klee deals DMG with Normal Attacks, Elemental Skills, or Elemental Bursts, she gains 1 Boom Badge that lasts 20s. Each type of attack can grant at most 1 Boom Badge this way, and each badge has its own independent timer. While Klee has 1/2/3 Boom Badges, her special Charged Attack Boom-Boom Strike deals 115%/130%/150% of its original DMG.

Combat Rotation

  1. Before engaging, try to reach 60 Energy so you can open with Burst (Sparks 'n' Splash).
  2. Throw Elemental Skill (Jumpy Dumpty) first — it bounces 3 times dealing AoE Pyro DMG, then splits into mines, applying Pyro to the target.
  3. Weave Normal Attacks with Charged Attacks: the passive gives a 50% chance to gain an Explosive Spark, which is consumed on the next Charged Attack for a free-Stamina hit dealing 50% bonus DMG.
  4. Once at 60 Energy, unleash Burst (Sparks 'n' Splash) — 15s cooldown, it sustains continuous AoE Pyro DMG for about 10s.
  5. While Burst is active, keep alternating Normal/Charged Attacks to maximize hit count and keep generating Explosive Sparks.
  6. When Burst ends, throw Elemental Skill again (its second charge, each charge recharges in 20s) to keep up Pyro pressure and mines.
  7. Repeat the loop: fire Burst as soon as you hit 60 Energy and its 15s cooldown is up, weave in Skill whenever a charge is ready — Klee acts as the main solo-carry DPS.
