Traveler (Hydro)
To be honest, Hydro Traveler is the weakest of the Traveler forms — damage isn't great and the playstyle feels clunky — but it still has a niche in Bloom teams or any team that needs cheap Hydro application. Splendor of Tranquil Waters is great if you have it, otherwise a Favonius Sword is fine for a support role. Don't invest heavily expecting a main DPS; treat this as a cheap utility pick for reaction teams.

Traveler (Hydro)'s talents
Foreign Stream
Performs up to 5 rapid strikes.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Aquacrest Saber
Press
Sends a Torrent Surge forward that will deal Hydro DMG to opponents it comes into contact with.
Hold
Enter Aiming Mode and constantly fire off Dewdrops in the direction in which you are aiming, dealing Hydro DMG to opponents they hit.
When the skill ends, it will send a Torrent Surge forward that will deal Hydro DMG to opponents it comes into contact with.
Suffusion: When using the Hold configuration of this skill, if the Traveler's HP is higher than 50%, the DMG dealt by Dewdrops will increase based on the Traveler's Max HP, and the Traveler will lose a fixed amount of HP every second.
Arkhe: Pneuma
At certain intervals, after using Torrent Surge, this skill will unleash a Spiritbreath Thorn that pierces opponents, dealing Pneuma-aligned Hydro DMG.

Rising Waters
You studied the ebb and flow of the tides with Paimon.
Spotless Waters
1 Droplet can be created this way every second, and each use of Aquacrest Saber can create 4 Droplets at most.
Clear Waters
The maximum DMG Bonus that can be gained this way is 5,000.
Foreign Aqualis
Additionally, when nearby party members' current HP increases or decreases by 5%, Traveler will receive 1 stack of Blade of Many Waters. You can gain 1 stack of Blade of Many Waters this way once every 4s, max 3 stacks. After obtaining 3 stacks of Blade of Many Waters, performing a Charged Attack will consume all stacks of Blade of Many Waters and transform into the special Charged Attack: Tidebound.
Charged Attack: Tidebound
· Each Charged Attack hit deals increased Hydro DMG. Increase in DMG is equal to 150% of Traveler's ATK,
· When Traveler's HP is no less than 50%, 10% of Traveler's Max HP will be consumed to increase DMG inflicted by each Charged Attack hit by 100% of Traveler's ATK.
· When Traveler's HP is lower than 50%, one instance of healing equal to 25% of Traveler's Max HP will be restored upon hitting an enemy.
· Charged Attack: Tidebound can be triggered up to once every 15s.
Combat Rotation
- Stand off-field and quick-tap E (Aquacrest Saber - Press mode) to send a Torrent Surge that deals Hydro DMG and applies Hydro to enemies.
- If you need sustained application or extra damage, hold E (Hold mode) for up to 6 seconds to fire continuous Dewdrops; above 50% HP the Suffusion mechanic boosts damage but drains HP over time, so be careful at low HP.
- Once you've built up 80 energy, unleash Q (Rising Waters), a slow floating bubble that deals continuous Hydro DMG for 4 seconds, applying Hydro steadily to enemies.
- Swap immediately to your main DPS while the Q bubble is still active to trigger elemental reactions (Vaporize/Freeze/Bloom depending on your team).
- Let the main DPS attack and use their own skill while E (10s CD) and Q (20s CD) are on cooldown.
- Once E is off cooldown, swap back to Traveler-Hydro, tap Press E to reapply Hydro, then swap out again - no need to Hold unless you want extra damage.
- Prioritize rotating Q every 20 seconds to keep Hydro application uptime consistent for the whole team.
- Avoid holding E for long when your HP is low, since the Suffusion mechanic drains HP over time.
