All 14 cubes, which role wants which, and how to level them
Each Nikke can equip exactly 1 Harmony Cube at a time. Unlike gear, a cube can't move between different slots, but it CAN be removed from one Nikke and equipped on another — its upgrade level is NOT lost when you do this.
Leveling a cube requires a "Battery" item specific to that cube type, obtained from Lost Sector or the Union Shop. Per older data (gamingonphone.com — worth re-verifying since it may be outdated after several updates), the historical Lost Sector unlock order was: Assault → Lost Sector 1, Onslaught → 2, Resilience → 4, Bastion → 7, Adjutant → 9, Wingman → 11.
The most familiar group, equipped on most day-to-day PvE squads:
- Resilience Cube — boosts Reload Speed; from level 5 it also adds elemental damage. Good on Nikkes with long reload animations like Scarlet, Alice, Pepper, Drake, Rapunzel, Anis: Sparkling Summer.
- Bastion Cube — refunds part of your ammo on hit; useless on Nikkes with a "last bullet" mechanic. Good on sustained-fire DPS like Modernia, Scarlet, Guillotine.
- Wingman Cube — increases Max Ammo capacity. Good for shotguns and core DPS that need lots of ammo for a long burst window.
- Adjutant Cube — boosts Charge Speed. Good on Snow White, Alice, Rapunzel — Nikkes that need to charge fast.
- Assault Cube — boosts Hit Rate; from level 5 also adds elemental damage. Good on Drake, Maiden, Anis: Sparkling Summer, Noir, Guilty.
- Onslaught Cube — boosts Charge Damage; from level 5 adds a significant elemental damage bonus. Good on Sniper Rifle/Rocket Launcher units like Maxwell.
- Quantum Cube — boosts Burst Gauge generation, but is ONLY useful in PvP content (Arena/Union Raid PvP). Good on Centi, Jackal, Anis, Emilia, Rumani.
The newer group, leaning toward HP/defense/healing/special damage:
- Relic Vigor Cube — boosts Max HP. Good on Nikkes that scale damage/healing off Max HP, like 2B, Rapunzel, Noise, Mary: Bay Goddess, Frima, Blanc, Marciana.
- Endurance Cube — boosts DEF, mainly for PvP. Good on Scarlet, Blanc, Moran.
- Healing Cube — boosts HP Potency (how much healing you receive); if the wearer has a healing skill, it also boosts Heal Provided. Good on Noise, Mary: Bay Goddess, Rapunzel, Blanc, Marciana.
- Relic Tempering Cube — reduces damage taken. Good on Scarlet, Blanc, Noise, Moran.
- Relic Assist Cube — grants bonus HP when the wearer drops to Critical HP (roughly 20% HP threshold).
- Destruction Cube — boosts Part Damage, usable on any character as long as the boss has destructible parts. Good on Rapi: Red Hood, Asuka: Wille, Snow White.
- Piercing Cube — boosts Pierce Damage. Good on Red Hood, Alice, Snow White, Maxwell, Grave, Asuka.
