Is Lynette worth building?

Lynette is an easy-to-get 4-star Anemo support (handed out free via her event) who does the basic Viridescent Venerer job well: grouping enemies and shredding elemental RES for your carry. She isn't on Kazuha's or Sucrose's level as a buffer, but if you don't have either, she fills the slot nicely and costs almost nothing. Building her is simple: enough Energy Recharge to Burst on rotation, then CRIT, with a 4pc Viridescent Venerer. For a weapon, the 4-star Favonius Sword is her best. She's not a heavy-investment unit, but she's a reliable gap-filler for many elemental teams.

Enigmatic Feint

#Flicks her mantle and executes an Enigma Thrust, dealing Anemo DMG.
When the Enigma Thrust hits an opponent, it will restore Lynette's HP based on her Max HP, and in the 4s afterward, she will lose a certain amount of HP per second.
Based on whether you {LAYOUT_MOBILE#tap}{LAYOUT_PC#press}{LAYOUT_PS#press} or hold this ability, she will use Enigma Thrust differently.

Lynette will enter a high-speed Pilfering Shadow state and apply Shadowsign to a nearby opponent. You can control her movement direction during this state, and you can end it prematurely by using this skill again.
When this high-speed state ends, Lynette will unleash her Enigma Thrust. If there is an opponent with Shadowsign applied to them nearby, Lynette will approach them in a flash before using Enigma Thrust.

A maximum of 1 opponent can have Shadowsign at any one time. When this opponent gets too far from Lynette, the Shadowsign will be canceled.

Arkhe: Ousia
At specific intervals, Lynette will unleash a Surging Blade when she uses Enigma Thrust, dealing Ousia-aligned Anemo DMG.

Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift

Lynette raises her mantle high, dealing AoE Anemo DMG, using skillful sleight of hand to make a giant Bogglecat Box appear!

Elemental Absorption of this kind will only occur once during this ability's duration.

Sophisticated Synergy

Within 10s after using Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift, when there are 1/2/3/4 Elemental Types in the party, all party members' ATK will be increased by 8%/12%/16%/20% respectively.

Props Positively Prepped

After the Bogglecat Box summoned by Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift performs Elemental Conversion, Lynette's Elemental Burst will deal 15% more DMG. This effect will persist until the Bogglecat Box's duration ends.

Loci-Based Mnemonics

Shows the location of nearby Recovery Orbs on the minimap. The Aquatic Stamina and HP gained from touching Orbs will be increased by 25%.

Combat Rotation

Before the fight, make sure Lynette has accumulated the full 70 energy needed for her burst, Magic Trick: Astonishing Shift.
Hold Enigmatic Feint (E) to enter the high-speed Pilfering Shadow state and mark a nearby foe with Shadowsign, then release to have her dash in and land an Anemo Enigma Thrust.
As soon as she has 70 energy, use her burst (Q) to summon the Bogglecat Box, which taunts enemies and deals periodic Anemo damage on its own.
Within that window, swap to a Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro character so the box performs its one-time Elemental Absorption, letting it fire extra elemental shots.
Once the box has absorbed an element, Lynette's next burst deals 15% more damage thanks to Props Positively Prepped.
For 10 seconds after the burst goes off, the whole party gets an ATK buff of 8/12/16/20% depending on how many elemental types are on field (Sophisticated Synergy) — swap in your main DPS right away to capitalize.
Weave in normal attacks and E in between to regenerate energy while the box tanks hits and the ATK buff is still active, waiting out the burst's 18-second cooldown.
If running Lynette as a sub-DPS rather than support, chain her 4-hit normal attack combo with E to make use of her Ousia Arkhe Surging Blade procs while cycling back to the burst.
