Chief Sidekick
The equipper's Impact increases by 30/33/36/39/42, and their DMG ignores 15/17.2/19.5/21.7/24% of the target's Fire RES. When the equipper is not the active character, Energy Regen increases by 0.4/0.46/0.52/0.58/0.64/s. When the equipper deals Fire DMG with an EX Special Attack, all Agents' DMG increases by 12.5/14.4/16.3/18.1/20% for 30s, stacking up to 2 times. Repeated triggers reset the duration. This effect can trigger once per skill. Only one instance of this effect can exist in the same squad.

Verbatim from official game data. Refinement ONLY increases the passive effect values above — it does NOT change Base ATK or the Advanced Stat, which scale with level instead.
How to read this W-Engine page
Every W-Engine has 5 Refinement ranks (R1→R5): refinement ONLY strengthens the passive effect — the numbers in the table above run from left (R1, unrefined) to right (R5, max refinement via 4 duplicates or Overclock materials); Base ATK and the Advanced Stat (CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG/ATK%/PEN Ratio/Anomaly Proficiency...) do NOT change with refinement, only with the engine's level. "Best Agents for this W-Engine" prioritizes agents whose real build actually recommends this engine; if that data isn't available yet, the page falls back to agents sharing the same specialty as a rough guide. "Alternatives of the same specialty" lists other W-Engines with the same role — useful when you don't own the engine shown on this page.
