W-Engines

All 93 W-Engines — full effects, filter by rank and matching specialty.
What is a W-Engine?

This page gathers every W-Engine currently in the game into one LIVE table: each entry lists rarity, specialty, base stats at the correct level marker, the exact passive wording, and Refinement R1 through R5. Filter by rank (S/A/B) or specialty (Attack/Stun/Anomaly/Support/Defense/Rupture), type a name to search, and tap any entry for its full page. The one thing to remember before you scroll: a W-Engine's passive only fires at full strength when its specialty matches the specialty of the Agent holding it — learn that rule and you can pick the right weapon for anyone you're raising, even without the signature.

Reading the stats right: Base ATK by level marker and Advanced Stat

Every W-Engine shows two ATK numbers that confuse people who miss the level marker: a low one at level 0 (S-rank around 46–50, A-rank 40, B-rank 24) and a high one at max level 60 (S-rank around 684–743, A-rank around 594, B-rank around 475, an estimate not cross-checked). These aren't two different weapons — just two level markers of the same base stat, so the table always tags the level next to each number so you compare correctly.

  • Base ATK scales linearly with level and doesn't depend on Refinement.
  • Advanced Stat (CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK%, PEN, Anomaly Proficiency, Energy Regen, Impact...) is the secondary stat on every W-Engine, ranging roughly 9.6%–24% at level 60 depending on the piece — this is what actually decides whether it fits a DPS or a support.

When comparing two W-Engines of the same rank, don't just look at Base ATK — the Advanced Stat is the real difference between pieces of the same tier.

Rank S/A/B and all 6 specialties — why matching the role matters

W-Engines split into three ranks: S is the strongest tier with the highest-value passives and widest Advanced Stat range, A is the standard tier that builds well for most content, B is the entry tier for early game. Higher rank means bigger base stats and stronger passives, but it doesn't decide everything — a properly built A-rank still clears hard content.

Specialty comes in six types, not five: Attack, Stun, Anomaly, Support, Defense, and Rupture — that last one gets left off plenty of older lists.

The rule that matters most: a W-Engine's passive only fires at full strength when its specialty matches the Agent's specialty; a mismatched piece still works but loses the bonus effect, so always match specialty before you weigh rank.

Refinement R1 to R5: is it worth the resources

Pulling a duplicate W-Engine raises its Refinement, also called Overclock, up to 4 times to reach 5 stars. Each star adds a specific percentage to the passive — for example a piece might scale 12%/14%/16%/18%/20% across its stars — not just a vague 'gets stronger' like many outside lists describe it.

So whether Refinement is worth it depends on the piece: some W-Engines scale hard with stars and reward chasing duplicates, others are close to full value at R1 already. Each W-Engine's detail page lists the exact per-star increase so you can budget your pulls, and reputable outside tier lists usually rank at R1 — keep that marker in mind when comparing sources.

Signature vs standard — picking the right type for the role

Signature W-Engines are built for one specific Agent, with passives that plug straight into that character's kit, so they hit hardest paired with their owner. Standard W-Engines are effective from base level for anyone sharing the specialty, with no need to raise a dedicated copy.

Every Agent equips exactly one W-Engine at a time, so the simple rule: if you own the signature, give it to your main carry; if not, pick a standard piece of the same specialty and build its Advanced Stat for the role (CRIT for DPS, Anomaly Proficiency for Anomaly, Energy Regen for Support) — you still get solid damage without ever pulling the signature.

How to get, upgrade, and recycle W-Engines

You get W-Engines three ways: Signal Search banners (alongside character or weapon banners), trading Box Galaxy/shop stock for 音擎殘芯 (recycled W-Engine chips) plus in-game currency, or picking up the battle pass tier — five solid A-rank pieces even without any signature.

Upgrading spends EXP from dedicated materials (the Power Source line, denser at higher tiers), and the level 60 cap unlocks in steps of 10 levels using standard and higher-tier upgrade materials at later brackets. Recycling (回收) an unused W-Engine returns chips: roughly 1 for an A-rank, roughly 6 for an S-rank (estimate, not cross-checked) — spend those chips on other pieces at the shop.

Picking a W-Engine for the character you're raising — even without a signature

The quick method needs no memorization: first identify the Agent's specialty (Attack, Stun, Anomaly, Support, Defense, or Rupture), then filter the W-Engine table to that type — open each entry to check whether its passive and Advanced Stat fit your playstyle.

If you own that character's signature, it's almost always the optimal pick since its passive plugs directly into their kit. If not, choose a standard W-Engine of the same specialty and prioritize the right Advanced Stat for the role (CRIT for a damage dealer, Impact for Stun, Anomaly Proficiency for Anomaly, Energy Regen for an energy-starved Support). Check each character's build page for more specific picks when you want to go deeper.

FAQ

How many ranks do W-Engines have?

Three: S (strongest, highest-value passives), A (standard, good enough for most content), and B (entry-level). Higher rank means bigger base stats and wider Advanced Stat range, but a properly built A-rank still clears hard content — rank alone doesn't decide everything.

How many W-Engine specialties are there?

Six: Attack, Stun, Anomaly, Support, Defense, and Rupture. A W-Engine's passive only fires at full strength when its specialty matches the Agent holding it, so always match specialty before weighing rank or Refinement.

Is W-Engine base ATK 46-50 or 684-743?

Both are correct — they're two different level markers of the same stat. The 46-50 range (S-rank) is at level 0, while 684-743 is at max level 60. The table always tags the level next to each number so you never compare mismatched markers.

Is it worth Refining a W-Engine to R5?

Depends on the piece. Refinement (Overclock) maxes at 5 stars over 4 duplicate pulls, and each star adds a specific percentage to the passive. Some W-Engines scale hard with stars and reward the investment; others are near full value at R1. Each detail page lists the exact per-star increase so you can budget accordingly.

What do I use without a signature W-Engine?

Pick a standard W-Engine of the same specialty and build its Advanced Stat for the role: CRIT for a damage dealer, Impact for Stun, Anomaly Proficiency for Anomaly, Energy Regen for an energy-starved Support. Standard pieces are effective from base level, no dedicated grind required.

What does recycling a W-Engine do?

Recycling (回收) an unused piece returns 音擎殘芯 chips: roughly 1 for an A-rank, roughly 6 for an S-rank (estimate, not cross-checked). Spend those chips at the shop to pick up other W-Engines instead of letting duplicates clutter your inventory.
